Step back in time and learn about the region’s early settlers as you explore historical buildings. One of the area’s first pioneering slab homes is on display here, along with memorabilia and machinery dating back to the 19th century. This historic piece of land is a major part of Gold Coast history and caters for an abundance of inspiring information. The grounds were previously a site of an Aboriginal gathering place and are positioned on the remaining section of the sand dune which was formed more than 120,000 years ago.
