Lahey’s Canungra Tramway Tunnel | Canungra | Gold Coast

This tramway tunnel was built in the days of the Lahey’s Timber Mill to transport timber from the surrounding area. It was used as an ammunition dump during World War II and was restored as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations. Today it is highly regarded as one of the most amazing historical attractions on the Gold Coast as it is so rich in history with so many amazing and inspiring stories.
